About me....divorced, father of two beautiful, smart, red-haired kids. My friends would say I am funny, sensitive, devoted, sarcastic and, if they can run faster than me, would also call me a marshmallow. Probably a little OCD-ish, and can be known to have the stereotypical ginger temper, but I will give you the shirt off my back if you are in need. Maybe I am rough around the edges and don't sugar coat things, but you will always know where you stand. Ex sailor, cop, mechanic, medic, bouncer. Current nurse, medical records analyst. Love fast cars and DIY projects. I love music. Anything from Pink to Eminem to Alison Kraus to Ravel. I can do trig and calculus without a calculator and hem a pair of pants with my sewing machine. I watched a tv show about plane crashes, and then went and signed up for flying lessons. I love to do anything that lets me step outside of the limitations of the human body, flying, scuba diving etc. Lest you think I take myself too seriously, I should tell you I love to laugh, and make others laugh. I am a dork who loves to embarrass my two teenagers. I turned 18 in bootcamp, 21 in the first gulf war. I have traveled or been stationed all over the world and the US. About you….Surprisingly, I struggled with this just as much as I did when I had to describe myself. I have pretty much been single for the last ten years, and before that was married to my high school sweetheart. While I am not sure who I am looking for, I do know who I don't want to be with! I have chosen wrong many times. Have had my heart broken, and to be honest, broken a few hearts along the way. I miss sharing things with someone close. Whether that be a movie or a trip to the drag strip, or a sunrise/sunset. I need someone with a strong sense of humor and a good bit of intelligence. If you don't know how to use an apostrophe, or don't know the difference between your and you're, I am not the man for you. I am attracted to tough women who aren't afraid to get dirty.
