I am originally from Upstate New York; although I've spent almost 2 decades having adventures here, in Atlanta, GA. I have learned that in this life... "The Journey is as important as the Destination". That there are always detours and bumps in the road that generally make us better people in the long run, and more often than not, the most interesting of situations happen when you least expect them.

I enjoy unspoken communication. A grin, eye contact, the shared unspoken thought. But I realize most of that just comes with time.

I’m just a normal girl, looking for a companion who is ok with who they are, rather than whom they "appear to be". I want to meet new, interesting people and see what happens. I am down to earth, honest, Northern, open minded and have a good sense of humor. I am not perfect and don't expect anyone else to be. I am a romantic but I am also very practical. I'm looking to meet Someone REAL. Not afraid to be yourself. No instant expectations, but at the same time, no limits. If the chemistry is there, then it's meant to be. Things will cultivate over time.

I'd just like to add...
I am ultimately looking for someone to share my life with. The good, the bad, the happy times and the not-so-good. I Believe in looking for a mate, you should Support each other, and Compliment one another's strengths and weaknesses. Yes, physical attraction is important, but mental attraction is much more. A lot of people are not comfortable with my Northern-Ness, (is That a word?) so, I'm looking for someone who understands and appreciates my humor as well! *wink* A Beautiful piece of Body Art, or a Coupla’ Piercings never hurt either!

Honesty is Huge with me. Why do so many see a need to impress others? Just have fun and enjoy life. It works better that way. Ideally I would like someone with an open mind who is intelligent and attractive with a good personality. Someone who is forgiving when I show up a little late, or want to drag them to the 24 hour Wal-Mart at 3:30 in the morning!! Someone who can whip up a decent meal with whatever’s in the Fridge or Pantry, who is perfectly content to have me curl up in the crook of his arm with my favorite book, or snuggle with on the sofa in front of a movie. Someone I can wake up next to and make coffee for with a sleepy smile on my face!

Music is a Very Large part of my life as well… I Sing, and listen to a Wide Variety, but it always seems that I come back to Classic Rock and the Blues.
