I am a divorced single Dad of two very, active boys aged 16 and 18, I have been told I have a big heart and a very gentle soul. I tend to be quiet, thoughtful and easy going, but I enjoy going to a party, BBQ or a club and hanging out and meeting new people.
I am active and fit, I enjoy adventure races like the Warrior dash and do several different races or events a year. It helps having a goal and something to work for rather then mindless hours in a gym. Which I do also, but would rather be outdoors. I enjoy being healthy and active and its a great way to find new places and meet new people.
I have many hobbies and am always looking for new and exciting things to do. I spend a lot of time outdoors, Hiking or camping with my boys, boogie boarding at the beach, burning hotdogs over a big fire and playing in the sand (desert or the beach). I also enjoy golfing although I could use a lesson or two (first date?)
Life is about balance, while I enjoy many outdoor adventures and love exploring Texas. I also enjoy taking time out and spending quiet evenings at home watching a good movie with homemade popcorn and of course real butter.
I am confident with who I am and understand that being a good man and being the right man are two differant things. I know when to be gentleman and I know when to stand up for myself. I will open the door for you and take your coat. I will not bring coupons on the first date or argue over who should pay.
I will not be an octopus on the first date.(maybe the second or third) but I will listen and try to discover what makes you laugh and smile. I love conversation, holding hands, and being affectionate.
