I teach 8th graders U.S. History and love to spend my weekends and summers having fun, traveling, and adventures full of live music and good friends. I'm a native Texan and am a Christian, but please don't prejudge me based on those two aspects. I try to be very open-minded and not pigeon-hole others. I guess that's why I have a difficult time describing myself in 4000 characters or less. I don't want others to do that to me.So, here goes: I don't do drama or hang with those that do. I just learned to ride a motorcycle in Nov 2013 during my self-described year of taking on my fears and checking items off my bucket list. Last year, I rode mountain bikes in CO and NM, hiked 5 miles up 2000 ft to primitive camp at a mountain lake, sang and played guitar at a big festival gig, and bought a Harley Sportster 883. I don't smoke, but do love wine and enjoy drinks occasionally. I consider myself neither a republican nor a democrat. I'm 45yo, but don't act like it. During my first big trip on my bike, I rode to Burnett and it was a beating. We rode to Round Rock and upgraded to a 2014 Low Rider...Oh Baby! I love it and am ready for another trip in the fall. (squirrel; back to the task at hand)Actually, I'm sick of writing a dissertation and you are probably sick of reading it. So, I think I'll leave it as is and edit it later if needed. (see, I'm very flexible and easy going -- there's another description).
