Mi descriverei come

This is like writing my own eulogy... 'she was a lovely girl, shame she didn't see that oncoming bus ...' okay here goes, I am fiery (aka passionate, not manic, ), feminine, independent, upfront and honest. I can be a wee bit mad.(in the nicest possible way-don't worry you won't need bail money'. Equally comfortable in jeans or skirts, high heels or wellies. (though i rarely wear the wellies with the skirt, unless asked nicely.) I enjoy animals, (have two enormous dogs, three cats, two almost grown kids- but they are all pretty tame lol), nature, music and have a strong interest in social issues, psychology and forensics. I don't suffer fools gladly, but happy to give my mittens to homeless guys. I draw the line at giving up my shoes however, (what does a homeless fella want with women's size 4 stilettos anyway)? I am younger looking then my years, (photo will follow if you'd like proof), energetic and happy. I am slender and feminine yet remarkably strong. I enjoy spending time with those I care for but equally enjoy pursuing my own interests. I am a loyal friend, dedicated companion and protective of those I care about, christ, I sound like Lassie.
I appreciate honesty and integrity and when I give my word it means everything and I expect the same from others. I am Canadian by origin (no I don't drink Molson's, live in an Igloo or know Celine Dion, sorry) I live and work in Ireland, (so its all Guiness, thatched cottages and Van Morrison now, lol). I am not into drama, headgames, tire kickers or drug users.

Cosa cerchi?

A down to earth person who knows what he is about, cares about the world outside his own doorstep, can laugh at himself and is honest, decent and caring. He treats people with respect and manners and thoughtfulness. He is an independent thinker who appreciates the small things in life as much as the big gestures. I don't expect anyone to have gone through life without acquiring some 'baggage' but I would prefer if it were neatly packed. Someone who has learned from their mistakes, have a positive outlook and a good sense of humour.
