I’m a conservative wildflower with a calm soul. I enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning and cuddling with my Yorkie “Romeo”. I’m an outdoorsy person, the water calms me. I’m not a person to accept judgement from others because I know who I am, and my morals and values are intact, they’re not changing. I can have a conversation with the opposite side but not with the intent of changing anyone’s mind. People believe what they believe and they will do so until something happens to them that changes their mind, I’m not going to be the one to change it for them so I’m not wasting my energy on it.
I am a high school teacher and a lifelong learner. I have learned so much from the kids I’ve taught and the people I’ve come into contact with over time. I’m not a person to invest in things unless they bring me joy, I want experiences that bring memories AND joy. I want to touch and be touched by those around me. (Not physically, but emotionally! LOL)
I’m not a person to sit around and wait for something to happen, I make things happen. I feel like when you act reasonably in blind faith, things tend to work out, God sees all the work you’re putting in. I wouldn’t say I’m religious, but I’m spiritual and I go to church because I love to sing and they haven’t kicked me out yet for doing so!
I love paddle boarding and have traveled the northern continent doing so with my little guy Romeo. I’m always ready for my next adventure, but for now I’m helping out a school while their teacher is gone so my weekdays will be busy for a minute. I haven’t decided my next step… I’m just putting it out into the universe and letting God guide me because He’s never let me down yet!
I just bought a Harley, I got a great deal on a garage find so now I need someone to help me get the courage to get on the country roads with it!! The wind therapy is addicting, like water therapy, but I have no interest in city riding or killing myself on it. Willing to ride passenger if necessary! LOL!
